ReplyDeleteI am sorry but this story has nothing to do with Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk Uezd. Absolutely nothing. I am not taking about moving it to Victorian England of course. The story line, it's twists and the ending are completely different. In the book Katherine's lover falls out with her, choosing another woman.
